Meet Julia

Welcome to my blog about my life with dancing and gymnastics. I share my experiences and my journey with my readers. Follow me as I journey through my second year of IT and balance my passions with academics.

More about me

Over the years, I've attended several dance schools and have gained invaluable knowledge and experience from each of them. I've learned the importance of discipline, dedication, and practice, and how it translates into success not only in dance but in all aspects of life. Dance has also taught me the importance of teamwork, perseverance and self expression. Jazz/lyrical, gymnastics, tap dance, hip hop, ballroom dances, including waltz and cha cha etc... I've tried them all. Dance has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and being able to express myself through movement has been an incredible experience.

Dances I've tried

Lyrical/jazz

Lyrical Jazz is a style of dance that combines ballet, jazz, and contemporary movements, creating an emotional expression through fluid and graceful movements. This dance style has captivated dancers all over the world, including at Danceworkx and Lyndance in Drogheda, where I first learned it. It became one of my favorite dance styles due to its heartfelt rhythm and emotive choreography.

Tap dance

Commercial dancing is a unique style that combines technique, creativity, and performance. As a dancer, I enjoyed the challenge of incorporating different styles and movements into my routine. I learned some of the steps through my dancing school and was able to apply them to a real-life performance. If you're interested in learning more about commercial dancing, I highly recommend finding a qualified instructor who can guide you through the process.

Hip Hop

Hip hop dance is one of my favorite things to do. I learned it when I was in Poland and have been hooked ever since! It's an energetic and fun way to stay active while expressing myself creatively. If you're looking for a new hobby, I highly recommend giving hip hop dance a try!

Ballroom dancing

Ballroom dancing is an art form that requires discipline, precision, and hard work, but the rewards are truly worth it. Learning cha cha, waltz, quickstep and other dances will allow one to master the graceful movements and gain a greater appreciation for this magnificent form of expression. Whether attending classes alone or with a partner, ballroom dancing is a fun and fulfilling activity that I highly recommend to anyone looking to get into dancing. I attended ballroom dancing classes in Poland and I really loved it!
